How to Love Your Skin

It’s almost Valentine’s Day, and you know what we love? Dermatology! This is a great time of year to embrace yourself and love the skin you’re in.

Treat your skin right. Keeping your skin clean and moisturized will always leave it refreshed. It’s also important to get educated on the type of skin you have. For example, you wouldn’t want to accidentally use a harsh cleanser on oily skin, because it may increase oil production.

Go to the dermatologist. Stop ignoring that mole, acne or blemish. We can provide advice on the proper way to treat your skin and take care of individual symptoms. It’s important to get a regular dermatology check-up to learn about your skin and take precautions to prevent any health issues.

Stop doing things that harm your skin. Habits like sleeping with your makeup on, popping pimples and smoking are all slowly damaging the skin. Over exfoliation and indoor tanning may not appear harmful, but both can lead to major health problems.
